About Dr. Haberle

A physician focused on clarity, evidence, and dependable communication

I am a board-certified internist with additional expertise in clinical informatics, providing independent medical review and advisory services for legal matters involving medical care, documentation, and standards of care.

My clinical background is in general internal medicine, with experience across inpatient, outpatient, hospice, long-term and care-transition settings. This breadth informs a practical understanding of how clinical decisions are made in real-world environments, often under time pressure and with incomplete information.

In addition to clinical practice, I have held physician leadership roles within a large, integrated healthcare system, where I worked at the intersection of frontline care, clinical documentation standards, and system-level processes. Through this work, I gained extensive experience reviewing medical records, evaluating clinical workflows, and understanding how electronic health records shape both care delivery and documentation.

My training in clinical informatics focuses on how medical information is created, structured, communicated, and used within healthcare systems. In legal matters, this perspective is particularly relevant when questions arise regarding documentation quality, care transitions, clinical decision-making, or the interpretation of electronic health records.

My consulting work is grounded in independence and objectivity. I do not serve as an advocate for any party. Opinions are evidence-based, explicitly bounded by the medical record, and limited to areas within my training and experience. When appropriate, I provide written medical opinions and testimony designed to be clear, precise, and accessible to legal decision-makers.

I work with attorneys, courts, and court-appointed professionals in matters where medical issues require careful, neutral analysis.

Engagements are accepted selectively to ensure appropriate scope, independence, and professional standards.
